Night Deposit

We offer night deposit services at all FCNB locations.

Our night deposit service is available outside of normal banking hours. Night deposits are removed for processing by 9:00 am each day, Monday through Saturday excluding holidays.  Items dropped in our night deposit after 9:00 am will be processed the next business day.

Business customers use special night deposit bags to make deposits after hours using our night deposit. FCNB requires night deposit business customers to use a self-sealing security bag or a sealed envelope.

• A self-sealing security bag or sealed envelope does not require trip to the bank to pick up a bag as these are disposable. Customers can provide their own self-sealing security bags or may purchase security bags from FCNB. Pricing varies depending on the type and size of bag.
• Additional night deposit keys are available for $1.00 plus tax.

Funds you deposit using our night deposit services are typically available the next business day.

We offer free notary service to our customers. This service is available at Fayetteville, Oak Hill, and Ansted Offices.

Visa Check Card

Customers are eligible to apply for a Visa Check Card on the day a checking account is opened or any day thereafter.

Visa Check Card allows you to:

• Make purchases anywhere Visa debit cards are accepted around the world.
• Your purchase amount is conveniently deducted from your checking account.
• A debit card saves time because you don’t have to write a check and wait for check approval.
• Detailed description of every card purchase you make appears on your monthly checking statement.
• The Visa Check Card doubles as an ATM card, so you can also use it to obtain cash at thousands of ATMs worldwide.
• No charge for ATM withdrawals at FCNB’s Fayetteville or Oak Hill ATMs
• If your debit card is lost or stolen, contact us as soon as possible at (304) 574-1212 to close the card.

If you need to report a lost or stolen debit card after our business hours, please call 1-800-264-4274. After your card is closed, please come to the bank in person to apply for a new debit card.

Medallion Program

Fayette County National Bank now participates in the Securities Transfer Agents Medallion Program (STAMP). When placing a Medallion Guarantee Stamp on a security, the bank is guaranteeing the signature is genuine, the signer is an appropriate person to endorse, and the signer has the legal capacity to sign.

This service is offered to FCNB customers at no charge.

Wire Transfers

A wire transfer is an electronic payment service for transferring funds to a person, business or bank in the United States. Credit is usually received within a few hours. When you need to send money quickly, a wire transfer is often your best choice. You can also receive wire transfers into your FCNB account.

FCNB wire transfers are performed for FCNB deposit customers only. To wire money contact our Fayetteville, Oak Hill, or Ansted offices. You will need to provide information about the recipient’s bank, branch location, account information and physical address.

As of June 25, 2018 we will no longer process foreign wires.
